Generating a CSR on Sybase Anywhere with MS IIS 4.0

CSR instructions
 

1. Open the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) via Start > Programs > Windows NT 4.0 Option Pack > Microsoft Internet Information Server > Internet Service Manager

2. Open the map Internet Information Server and click the + symbol next to the server name

3. Select the Site which will use the SSL certificate, right click and choose Properties

4. In the Properties window > click the Directory Security tab

5. Click Edit > Key Manager

6. In the Key Manager window, select WWW, right click and choose Create New Key

7. Select: Put the request in a file that you will send to an authority. Enter a file path and name.

8. Next enter all the required information and remember your password.

9. Choose 2048 for bit length.

10. Enter your contact information and click Finish.

11. The Key Manager displays a key icon under WWW with a red mark, indicating installation is not yet complete.

12. Now Exit the menu and Save.
    Your key pair and CSR are generated at the location you indicated in step 7 (see above).

13. Open the CSR in a text editor like Notepad (do not use Word) and copy the entire content.

14. Paste the entire content of the CSR in the enrollment form at Networking4all en submit your certificate order.
