NetWin Ltd. founded in 1995 and located in Palmerston N., New Zealand, develops and distributes advanced software solutions that meet the needs of Internet and Intranet providers for reliable, high performance software that is easy to administer. NetWin products are easy-to-install and minimize administration overheads where possible. Their first product was DNews, a news server for Windows NT.
In 1997 NetWin launched DMail and DMailWeb, to be replaced in 2002 by a complete new product called SurgeMail.
